The G. Homer Durham Hall at Arizona State University, the top-ranked research university in the greater Phoenix area, underwent it’s first renovation in fifty years, with the intent of updating the building to reflect the modern learning environment.
Heidi’s Village is a nine-building campus consisting of a central administration facility that houses admin services, adoption services, training rooms, grooming services and a complete veterinary clinic. Heidi’s Village exists to foster a community where animals are treated with respect, dignity and compassion.
In November 2018, Atmosphere launched our first annual FLIP Your Classroom contest to provide local students and teachers with a space that fosters collaboration, teamwork, and peer-to-peer communication. After a panel of three judges reviewed the inspiring and heartfelt submissions, local teacher Victoria Sundberg was awarded $50,000 to design a classroom that would deliver a high-quality educational experience. Sundberg is a music teacher to all 600 students at Lake Marion Elementary School in Lakeville and is passionate about providing the best space for them.
In early September 2019, Atmosphere Commercial Interiors hosted our second annual FLIP Your Classroom contest to provide local students and teachers with a space that fosters collaboration, teamwork, and peer-to-peer communication. The learning needs of students and teaching needs of educators vary throughout the day, and Atmosphere set out to provide spaces where students have choice and control over their learning environment, thus creating ownership of the learning process and making a successful outcome more likely.
Located in Richfield, Partnership Academy recognized its need for more space for their growing number of students and additional grade levels being added to their school. With a new facility being built, the educators at Partnership Academy saw the opportunity to better impact their students with top-of-the-line technology and to meet the desire for choice and control with flexible classrooms for active students and creative teachers.
Cherry View Elementary School chose to partner with Atmosphere Commercial Interiors to create spaces that would enhance the student experience. Each Cherry View space was created with the purpose in mind to inspire active and creative experiences.
An existing Atmosphere client needed to relocate a newly acquired division quickly, which led to a 90-day timeframe for the design, specification, and ordering of furniture. Atmosphere coordinated with facilities staff from the client’s midwest offices on the 50,000 square foot facility in Georgia.
