The creative group at Target conceived a social, flexible collaboration space to occupy an existing storefront on Nicollet Mall across from their headquarters building. While temporary, the space, known as Target Plaza Commons, will perform as a creative corporate asset.

The design flexibly adapts to varied modalities, for instance, it provides a bar and food service for exhibitions, events, training, creative and relaxation uses. The indoor spaces move out to an enclosed garden that works as an extension of the interior functions. The adjacent building provides creative production spaces such as prototyping and black box workspace as well as bike lockers and shower facilities.
