Located in Edina, MN, Avidor is a luxury 55+ apartment community that opened to residents in 2019. Atmosphere partnered with ESG Architecture & Design to provide furnishings for the six-story, 165-apartment building that caters to adults 55 and older with an active lifestyle.
In November 2018, Atmosphere launched our first annual FLIP Your Classroom contest to provide local students and teachers with a space that fosters collaboration, teamwork, and peer-to-peer communication. After a panel of three judges reviewed the inspiring and heartfelt submissions, local teacher Victoria Sundberg was awarded $50,000 to design a classroom that would deliver a high-quality educational experience. Sundberg is a music teacher to all 600 students at Lake Marion Elementary School in Lakeville and is passionate about providing the best space for them.

The learning needs of students and teaching needs of educators vary throughout the day, and Atmosphere set out to provide spaces where students have choice and control over their learning environment, thus creating ownership of the learning process and making a successful outcome more likely.
Cherry View Elementary School chose to partner with Atmosphere Commercial Interiors to create spaces that would enhance the student experience. Each Cherry View space was created with the purpose in mind to inspire active and creative experiences.

Local trucking firm Rihm Kenworth needed to update and expand their office space while relocating to provide convenient access to customers and allowing for large trucks to maneuver in and out easily. The company wanted to enhance collaboration and employee wellbeing while building their brand and company culture. This was accomplished by creating 16 workstations and 47 offices as well as 20 ancillary and collaborative spaces for the 75 employees working at the Rihm Kenworth offices in South St. Paul.
The Global Design Lab of a Fortune 500 manufacturer in St. Paul, MN establishes space as a place for creative energy and strategic brand development. With the goal of inspiring design innovation, this lab pushes the boundaries of an open work environment. A bench system eliminates cubicle walls and barriers between people. Standing-height tables between bench clusters promote the impromptu conversations that can reveal new ideas.
The Cristo Rey Jesuit High School / Colin Powell Center in Minneapolis is part of a network of 13 schools that began in Chicago in 1996. An ambitious effort targeting economically disadvantaged, inner-city youth, this learning/living center is built from the ground up and serves approximately 500 students.
Completed in early 2014, the Child Life Zone at St. Paul Children’s Hospital is a state-of-the-art, therapeutic play area where pediatric patients and their families can play, learn, laugh, and relax. It is at once a sanctuary, a place to learn, a hang-out, a game center – and a place to be the star of your own show.
