PUBG Corporation, developer and publisher of the popular PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds video game, established a Madison office in late 2017. Because the Midwest continues to draw gaming and tech companies, PUBG upgraded their location and image in 2018 to attract and retain talent and build their brand and corporate culture.

The new space highlights stunning views of the Capitol and unique building architecture in the work cafe and conference room, where there are a variety of eclectic seating options for collaboration and focused work. As a gaming company, PUBG also required a “darkroom” and lounge areas for product testing, color graphics work, and rejuvenation. Steelcase Post & Beam and blackout drapery create a flexible space that can be transitioned from collaboration to heads-down work.

Team members spend long hours at their computers, so it was imperative to provide individual workstations with adjustable-height worksurfaces, support for a range of technologies, and task chairs that adapt to many different postures. Each workstation also includes personal storage that expands to provide individual privacy when needed.
