A Fortune-500 Financial Services Organization relocated from a larger 16-story building with older traditional furniture to a brand new, 8-story open collaborative and vibrant space. The new building highlights the architecture along with the nomadic approach of free-address for 70% of its workforce. One of the goals of the client was to lower the heights of the panels to allow more natural light from windows. Additionally, they wanted to create more social areas for gathering by incorporating 8 front porch and break areas, Co-Lab spaces, and collaborative work areas.
Atmosphere Commercial Interiors provided numerous solutions to satisfy the client’s objectives. Work variations were made to accommodate their work process, communication and storage requirements. With an ever-changing work environment, flexible areas were essential alongside multiple touch-down spaces to support different work modes.
Over 900 Steelcase Answer workstations were installed and more than 80 Steelcase Universal and Elective Element private offices with glass fronts supported staff with 12 executive offices. Meeting spaces were also high on the priority list, resulting in 30 conference rooms with Nevers custom conference tables and 30 huddle rooms.
