In collaboration with Sherman Associates and DLR Group, Canopy by Hilton Minneapolis opened its doors in February of 2019. It’s located in the lively Minneapolis Mill District and was previously known as the Thresher Square Building.
The historical landmark has been transformed into a remarkable hotel with 183 guest rooms, a lounge/bar, meeting spaces for guests and 9 offices for hotel staff.
A $6.5 million project, the Canopy team wanted the hotel to pay homage to its warehouse roots and maintain the industrial aesthetic throughout the hotel. Warm and inviting with modern vibes created an environment for guests to feel comfortable during their home-away-from-home visits.
