As one of the world’s largest equipment manufacturing companies, this client sought to transition team members working in high-panel workstations to an open and collaborative workspace in its new mining center.

The finished project, which spanned three floors and over 145,000 square feet, included 600 new Steelcase Answer workstations with Migration height-adjustable tables to provide a home base for all employees. These flexible workstations offer employees the ability to find the most comfortable settings for their individual work style. Each workstation features the popular Steelcase Gesture chair, providing consistent, dynamic support throughout the day. Conference rooms offer a space for larger groups to meet while 55 focus/huddle spaces allow for “heads down” work and small group meetings. The space also includes two training rooms, a maker space, an electronics lab and a cafeteria.
